Guardian’s sales relied on a network of contracted retail sales representatives to pitch the company’s add-on products to customers at the point of sale.
With only in-person sales training programs available, sales reps across the country were left to craft their own sales strategies with minimal product or company knowledge. This resulted in inconsistent and ineffective sales delivery methods that failed to convert customers or drive revenue.
We worked with Guardian’s top sales performers to extract their knowledge for sales approaches that worked, and then systematized the information into custom eLearning course modules tailored specifically to their outside sales reps to successfully sell Guardian’s unique products and services.
To deliver the training, Guardian implemented our cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) to house the sales curriculum. This made it easy for their contracted salesforce to engage with the information anytime, anywhere it was convenient for them. This way, the sales reps were able to use their time more productively prospecting and selling.
