Marketing Content Writer

Job Description:

Roundtable Learning, a growing learning solutions company, is seeking a talented writer with content marketing experience to develop compelling content for Roundtable’s social, web and industry presence. Your role will be to engage B2B prospects with informative and compelling content including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, video copy, infographics, direct mail, social media posts and digital advertising copy.

The candidate must display expertise in conceptualizing, writing and editing. Our ideal candidate is a creative writer with an understanding of marketing effectiveness and SEO. The candidate must also have an eye for detail and enjoy the autonomy of creating concepts, researching and delivering content according to deadlines.

The application and interview process will require up to three writing samples.


Writing clear copy for a variety of formats
Collaborating with marketing, design, and other team members on marketing projects
Conducting high-quality research and interviews
Managing company style guidelines
Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
Proposing copy ideas and strategic concepts to business leaders
Brainstorming concepts with other members of the marketing team
Editing and proofreading of all marketing content
Using SEO principles to maximize our web content
Maintaining Roundtable’s clear and consistent brand voice
Managing timelines for the conceptualization, creation, and execution of marketing content and campaigns including blogs, email, press releases, events, advertising, etc.


2-3 years of professional content marketing or content creation experience
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
Experience applying SEO principles in the digital space
Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized and able to work under pressure with tight timelines
Strongly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Able to see other people’s points of view and take on critical feedback
Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
Strong research skills
Experience in producing copy for digital, print and broadcast channels
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or related program
Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
Solid understanding of SEO concepts
